
Adrian Zacher
Biography
Adrian is a PhD researcher and the founder of the British Society of Pharmacy Sleep Services (BSPSS), a charity focused on integrating sleep education into community pharmacy practice. With 30+ years' experience in the sleep industry, his research examines the awareness, knowledge, and attitudes of healthcare professionals toward sleep, with a focus on sleep informed clinical decisions in community pharmacy. As part of his PhD, he is involved in MENT (Mental Health and Wellbeing), exploring the relationship between sleep and mental health. Committed to evidence-based practice, he advocates for evidence-informed approaches to sleep health. He is also the author of Doze and Die, a sleep awareness book that examines the impact of sleep deprivation. When not advancing sleep health, Adrian enjoys running, boxing, and spending time with his family in Lincolnshire, United Kingdom.
