Lucas Gutiérrez Lafrentz

Lucas Gutiérrez Lafrentz is a medical doctor specialised in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy. He has worked in community-based mental health care in Chile, his home country. 

In 2023, he completed a Master’s in Bioethics at KU Leuven. Since 2024, he has been pursuing a joint PhD at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the University of Antwerp, supervised by Prof. Anna Jansen (VUB) and Prof. Kristien Hens (UA). His research, framed within the TANDem project, examines the ethical challenges in the treatment and care of individuals with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex-associated neuropsychiatric disorders.
